So, why is organic makeup so expensive?

Clean makeup products are made with rare ingredients and, those made with organic ingredients typically cost more to farm and produce. This is why brands have to charge a significant price for most of the items.

Most organic makeup brands price their products at a moderate point between drug store prices and luxury brand prices.

Whether you are in-store or online before you go browsing around new arrivals, head straight for the sale. Buy anything that is on sale, especially staple colors like taupe or mauve.

At $55 dollars a bottle your foundation doesn't have to be layered everyday for a grocery store run. Save the money and full glam for Saturday night or the cameras. Instead use some day cream and a light powder foundation that can even your skin tone.

 My go-to light wieght powder foundation is Alima Pure satin matte foundation.
